Turned natural language requests into UI plans in about a second, using Jev to pick layout decisions faster and cheaper than Gemini 3.8 Flash and GPT 5.6 Luna.

The original post

You can use Jev to assemble interfaces on the fly.

Here’s an example I hacked together with Astra.

In this demo, Jev turns natural language requests into UI plans in roughly 1 second or less.

It’s 6x faster than Gemini 3.8 Flash and GPT 5.6 Luna. Cheaper, too.

Where this case fits

Filed under general Jev builds. In the pattern Jev is built for, the model answers a bounded question per step — and ordinary code acts on the answer, because the answer is already a value rather than a paragraph. Browse the full case library for the work it sits next to.
